Cousin Amanda comes to town for a visit and Sabrina gets a surprise when it appears Amanda is no longer her usual bratty self. When it looks like they have become the best of friends, Salem lets Sabrina in on the secret that Amanda has a crush on Josh, but when Sabrina gets called down to the coffee house by Josh, she immediately realizes Amanda set them up so she can spend the afternoon with Harvey, the guy she actually has the crush on. Sabrina rushes to Cloud 9 to get Harvey away from Amanda but things take a turn for the worse when Harvey falls off of the cloud. After putting Harvey safely away in his room, Sabrina tries to speed up Amanda's maturation process.
Meanwhile, after Zelda acquires a genie's bottle as her new private office, she becomes frustrated when first Hilda and then a bunch of other people get trapped inside.
It is never revealed how Amanda has her magic back when in last season's "Sabrina, the Matchmaker," she and her mom and sister were stripped of their magic and cast out of the Other Realm when Marigold told her boyfriend she was a witch and was accidentally betrayed.
It is revealed that someone else can say the incantation when a witch casts a spell.
When Zelda was in the bottle and Hilda arrives, Zelda says she is doing her taxes but when you look at her computer screen, she is playing Solitaire.
