Quotes[]
Sgt. Slater: Spellman, Spellman... Why is that name so familiar? Hilda Spellman... Hilda Thorn-In-My-Side Spellman! Don't tell me you're related to Hilda Spellman?
Sabrina: Okay!
Salem: Give me five! (Sabrina holds up her hand)
Salem: (looks at his paw) I can't!
Sgt. Slater: Unauthorized leave. Upsetting a fellow recruit. De-activating your De-activator. Feeding a canine officer a non-food substance.
Sabrina: Hey. He picked that fight, not me.
Sgt. Slater: Oh yeah? That’s not what he said.
Sabrina: I’ve got to get this de-activator off.
Salem: I’ll pick it with my dew-claw. It’s essentially the same lock that’s on your diary
Hilda: I’m so glad we spent our small fortune on a briefcase.
Salem: So fire it up and whip me up some hospital grade catnip.

Trivia[]
- In this episode, Zelda purchases her "labtop," which will become a somewhat important plot device for the next two seasons.
- A lot of other episodes, witches have different ways of using their magic, like rubbing their head or pulling their ear, but in witch camp they all have their pointing fingers out for inspection, so they all use their fingers for magic. It's possible that the boot camp might organize the girls by groups, and by types of magical use.
- Because this episode was originally the second part of a one hour premiere, syndication had to add ending titles to the first part and Melissa Joan Hart had to provide a voice over saying "Last time on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" for the second part. Also, the beginning of this episode is slightly edited for time... obviously, because of syndication, including a scene in which Zelda buys the labtop.
- The last outfit in the opening credit of this episode was the outfit of the first episode of the series, Pilot.
