When Sabrina saves Morgan from a deadly fall, she faces the wrath of The Fates, the three goddesses who control people's lives, because it was Morgan's time to die. After the Fates fail to kill her in punishment, they decide to go after Aaron. Aaron proposes to Sabrina, but she suspects that the Fates are manipulating him.
Meanwhile, after Morgan's near-death experience, she decides to join Roxie as a do-gooder and volunteers them to stay in the big Oak Tree for 24-hours in protest.
In "Sabrina's Date With Destiny," Destiny told Sabrina that nobody's destiny is preordained. He says that people make their own destinies. Yet in this episode, the three fates are able to control people's destinies. Clarification: In the Fantasy genre there usually is a difference between destiny and fate. One dictates what you'll do, eliminating free will. The other dictates what will happen to you, still leaving you with the choice what to do.

The soon to be American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, made a short appearance as an extra during the scene when Sabrina is shopping. She previously made a cameo in the Season 6 episode "The Whole Ball of Wax."
