Westbridge

Westbridge High School is the local school in Westbridge, Massachusetts that Sabrina Spellman attends and from where she graduates. It seems to have a Tenth through Twelfth Grade Curriculum, starting at age sixteen and graduating at eighteen. It seems to be in walking distance of the Spellman House as Sabrina often heads home between classes; yet, in other episodes, Sabrina sometimes rides a bus or have her aunts drop off objects. Their football team is known as the "Fighting Scallions." (Season 1 - 4)

School Layout-Overview

The school appears to consist of one major hallway shaped like either a zigzag with one major branch or a sloppy capital "T."

Classrooms

Although multiple classroom setups are shown, the same room and doors are used for multiple types of classrooms. For example, although the benches in the Biology/Science classroom and the counters in Home Ec appear to be quite immoble, the same poster of a jumping gymnast can be seen through the leftmost door('Bundt Friday,' Pilot) proving that they occupy the same space. The same room is also used as the history classroom in the Pilot('Pilot').

The fire hose can also be seen through the middle door. (The middle door of the Home Ec classroom appears to be the rightmost door in the Science classroom because the true rightmost door is often obscured by the rolling chalkboard at the front of the class) ('The True Adventures of Rudy Kazootie). The view of the fire hose as Sabrina exits the history classroom in the Pilot is what indicates that this too, uses the same room.

Layout-Detailed

As mentioned, the school's layout appears as a zigzag with some branches. It also goes through a couple of major alterations. The layout will the described from the common view of the cafeteria to the (house) left with the trophy case upstage of it and toward the right.

Primary Hallway

The straightest length of the hallway starts upstage of the cafeteria to the far left. A set of double doors in the left wall appear to lead from an another indoor area. Along the farthest upstage wall leading away from the first set of double doors are: a stretch of lockers, a single door which sometimes reads "Teacher's Lounge," and another set of double doors('Bundt Friday').

At the double doors, the hallway zigzags slightly downstage toward the camera with a trophy case on the right. (This is also where the primary hallway intersects with the downstage hallway.) Downstage and to the left of that are the doors to the cafeteria. From the cafeteria, the hall moves straight towards the right ('Dream Date).

Just around the corner from the trophy case and upstage edge of the hallway, is a single door with various lables through time. For example:

-guidance office (Bundt Friday)

-Library(A River of Candy Corn Runs Through It, Inna Gadda Sabrina)

-Principal (To Tell a Mortal).

To the right of the variously-labeled door is sometimes a tac board for posting jobs ('The True Adventures of Rudy Kazootie), and beyong that a small hallway moving upstage (away from the camera). The small hallway has lockers on the left side, and ends in double doors.

To the right of the branch with the small upstage hallway, is a fire hose that can often be seen just opposite the classroom doors.

End of Primary Hallway

In both 'The True Adventures of Rudy Kazootie' and 'Dream Date,' the primary hallway is shortened. In the former, the primary hallway and the small upstage hallway share the rightmost solid wall with a tac board('The True Adventures of Rudy Kazootie).

In 'Dream Date,' it is not clear if the upstage hallway exists. Both the upstage hallway and the middle classroom door appear to be missing. The far right of the primary hallway ends with double doors to the outside. These doors lead to the area where Harvey and Sabrina dance outside during 'Dream Date.'

Most typically however, there is the office door, tac board, upstage hallway, then fire hose. The hallway then ends with a solid wall and another tac board and wraps back around with the classroom door, etc discussed in "Downstage Wall of Primary Hallway" on this page.

The end of the hall is reworked again by the filming of Inna Gadda Sabrina and shows the uptage branch and double doors. It differs from some prior reworks of the set in that it shows the fire extinguisher on the same wall as the upstage doors instead of on a further downstage wall. There is also a display case to the (house) right of those double doors. The primary hallway then ends flush with the (house) rightward wall of the upstage hallway (Inna Gadda Sabrina).

Downstage Wall of Primary Hallway

Wrapping back around from the rightmost end and moving toward the cafeteria, there is a classroom door, then lockers, including the locker Sabrina is assigned in the first season. This is also where Sabrina gets hit in the head with a football by Harvey in the Pilot. Towards the left side of this wall is a poster of a globe, directly across from the office door/guidance office door (Pilot).

Downstage Hallway

Another commonly used location is the downstage hallway. In the far background are the cafeteria and hall to the left, the double doors in the middle, and a trophy case and hallway toward the right(Pilot).

On the left side is a drinking fountain and a poster of a jumping gymnast. There's also a single door and lockers(Pilot).

On the right are at times a dolphin poster or a runner poster ('Pilot'), moving further away from the intersection is the classroom, and toward the camera from that are the telephones('The True Adventures of Rudy Kazootie') .

Rooms

The Cafeteria is in the downstage leftmost area of the school. The classrooms are in the downstage right area of the school(Pilot).
