Sabrina and Salem are both in desperate need of money and look through the paper for an opportunity to make some. When they discover that there's $500 grand prize to be won in a cat show, they decide to enter. Arriving in Boston for the show, they discover a web of intrigue, giant-sized egos and really catty behavior. Discovering that the cat show judge, a respected media figure, is being blackmailed Sabrina sets out to find out who it is. She gets herself into trouble when she turns herself into a cat to avoid suspicion when she gets trapped in a room she shouldn't be in.
Meanwhile, Hilda and Zelda seek out a magical perfume that will make Zelda repulsive to their love-sick mailman Dirk, and Hilda gets shrunk as a punishment for taking free samples in the magical "Full Moon" shop.

One of the people in the cat show was a parody of James Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who has the same type of cat as seen in this episode.
For some reason, Sabrina assumes that Salem's last name would be Spellman, but she and the audience discover it is actually Saberhagen.
Mr. Pool, Libby , and Jenny do not appear in this episode.
A girl is seen, whose name is not mentioned, and who offers tickets to Sabrina and Harvey. She is also seemingly arrogant, a role usually fulfilled, this season, by the Libby character.
